24th meeting of the Regional Permanent Conference of the Moravian-Silesian Region

On 21 February 2025, the 24th meeting of the Regional Standing Conference took place in the Moravian-Silesian Region. Representatives of key institutions, including the Ministry of Regional Development, the Ministry of Environment, the OP Just Transformation, the National Network of Local Action Groups and the Strategic Planning Office of the Moravian-Silesian Region, presented their contributions at the meeting.
???? A number of key topics were on the agenda.
- Support for municipalities from national subsidy titles of the Ministry of Regional Development – presentation of current funding opportunities and support for regional policy
- OP Fair Transformation – an overview of the news and developments of a key programme for the transition of the region to a more sustainable economy
- Regional development strategy – evaluation of the results achieved so far in the middle of the programme period
- Community-led local development – how strategies are being implemented within local action groups
- Implementation of the RE:START strategy measures – an overview of progress in implementing measures to support economic transformation
???? Increase in OP Fair Transformation calls
One of the key outcomes of the meeting was the approval of the increase of the calls of the OP Fair Transformation. This reflects the region’s high level of interest in financial support to help ensure a smooth transition to sustainable and innovative solutions in industry and communities.
