The workshop aims to bring together scientists, engineers and industry leaders to explore how new technologies using atomic engineering and artificial intelligence (AI) can transform industrial practice.
The programme will focus on breakthroughs in atomically precise materials design for catalysis, biomedicine and (bio)sensing, as well as advances in computational materials design using machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI). The use of AI and ML applications in chemistry, plant research and advanced manufacturing will also be discussed.
By presenting cutting-edge research from leading Czech institutions (CATEN, CATRIN of Palacký University and VŠB – Technical University Ostrava on behalf of the Centre for Energy and Environmental Technologies, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and the National Supercomputing Centre IT4Innovations), the workshop aims to inspire participants touse these innovations, accelerate the transfer of basic research results into practice and encourage partnerships that will strengthen the competitiveness of industry and help companies become leaders in their field.
The workshop is jointly organised by CATEN, MSIC and IT4Innovations.
