From 27 to 30 October 2024, another edition of the Business Camp took place under the auspices of the Moravian-Silesian Innovation Centre in Ostrava, which is a residential camp for high school students who will prepare a business plan from their business idea during 4 days.
During the 4 days at the Ameryka Hotel in Jablunkov, participants could enjoy a programme from the Euroschola Institute focused on the basic competences of an entrepreneur. For example, they learned how to define their customer or how to deal with financial planning. They also enjoyed a lot of outdoor and creative activities – they could decorate their own business canvas.
Representatives of the company Renderwaves or the young entrepreneur Veronika Hývnarová (Učko and Víkendové tábory) presented their business stories to the students. The Youth to Region initiative then presented opportunities for young talents in the MSK.
At the end of the Camp, the students presented their business ideas to a jury composed of representatives of Komerční banka, MSIC, Můžeš podnikat.
