Hospodarske noviny announced for the twentieth time the TOP women of the Czech Republic. In the businesswoman category, Denisa Materová, CEO of Promet Group, took 2nd place. “It was a wonderful evening in the company of many amazing women. I don’t usually feel like a top woman, but I appreciate the award very much. I am glad that the expert jury sees our work. I see the award as a prize for all colleagues in our group companies and it is proof for me that we are on the right track. At the same time, it is a great commitment for the future to those who surround me and help me.”
The aim of the TOP Women of the Czech Republic project is to raise the profile of successful women from the private and public sphere. “Throughout the year, we follow the achievements and successes of women not only in business, but also in the public sphere, science, sport or culture. An expert jury then selects the 25 strongest names in each of the categories Businesswoman, Manager and Public Sphere. From these winners we then choose the first three places,” explains Jaroslav Masek, editor-in-chief of Hospodárske noviny.
The jubilee edition of the prestigious event was held at the Agnes Monastery in Prague. The title of TOP female entrepreneur was awarded to Iva Št’astná, owner and founder of the Portiva Group, while Jana Bobošíková Jr., owner of the California-based startup studio 12:01, finished third.
