Successful take-offs and hard landings are no exception in business. The airport is thus a characteristic place for sharing business stories. MSIC provides visibility and other forms of support to promising start-ups and scale-ups (fast-growing companies) in the region. As one of the key players in the innovation ecosystem, MSIC has held this tradition for several years. At the end of May, it was time to string more pearls on the imaginary string.
From the first clients to the expansion into the world
The announcement was preceded by contacting more than 180 companies and an in-depth survey. Startups that showed great motivation in getting their first clients – MyRepair.app, PeopleBoard.ai, Rankacy and ZenAlgo – made it to the final selection . And scaleups with a clear vision in scaling and expansion – 24 vision, BrainMarket, Raynet and Vosíme holding.
“We are delighted to be at the origin of companies with global ambitions that are fully exploiting their potential and strengthening the reputation of the Moravian-Silesian region. The more quality projects are born here, the more attractive the region will be for people, investors and other entrepreneurs,” commented Adéla Píchová, head of the MSIC startup acceleration team, on the development of the business environment.
From start-up to scale-up
The announcement was part of the programme of an entrepreneurial event organised by the non-profit organisation Patriots MSK for more than 100 participants . Just as we are proud of Lysá hora, we should be proud of the companies that are growing here and changing the world. That ‘ s why we have joined forces – to make these stories more known and to make them a natural part of the image of the Moravian-Silesian Region,” explained Tomáš Buchwaldek, co-founder of the MSK Patriots.
The filled capacity of the airport premises exceeded expectations and at the same time showed a great interest in the development of the business environment in the region. The event was attended by entrepreneurs, startups and representatives of support organizations who want to participate in creating the future of business in Moravia. And this is just the beginning – new acceleration services and programmes are already being created, MSIC is preparing targeted support for fast-growing companies and on 27 November, at the InnoVerse conference, it will officially announce all scaleups operating in the region. MyRepair.app is a comprehensive system for managing service orders – from phone repairs, to bike repair shops, to watchmakers. It facilitates the daily agenda and responds to topical issues, facilitating for example the second life of products.
PeopleBoard.ai is a data-driven, AI-powered platform for smart people management. It identifies what motivates employees and what holds them back. It gives managers accurate data for decision-making, translates strategy into actionable steps, and helps improve company culture.
Rankacy is an AI data analytics application that evaluates data from computer games and provides services to players in the form of detailed statistics, video clips and advice. Based on its proprietary AI model, it helps developers create more fun games. It currently has 30,000+ users from all over the world.
ZenAlgo provides advanced financial market analysis based on robust data, algorithmization and deep knowledge of the trading environment. It has proprietary indicators for the TradingView platform that track the movement of the so-called Smart Money – the big players that move the market. They aggregate data across exchanges in real time and provide automated alerts as well as strategic trading tools.
SCALEUPY
24 vision – ANNIE is an advanced visual quality control tool that detects surface defects and correct product configuration. The detection is based on the use of different types of neural networks and the solution includes the tools needed to deploy the system in production.

The Moravian-Silesian Innovation Centre Ostrava supports the development of the innovation and entrepreneurial potential of MSK. It focuses on small and medium-sized enterprises and start-ups, as well as other groups that significantly influence the prosperity of the local environment. The pillars of this prosperity are quality education, research and development, as well as cooperation in the field of new technologies and their introduction into companies. Since 2012, the non-profit organisation Patriots MSK has focused on connecting and educating entrepreneurs in the Moravian-Silesian Region. It regularly organises events focused on business topics and networking. The aim of the association is to initiate the exchange of so-called best practices in the Moravian-Silesian Region. The organisation’s biggest event is the Meeting of Patriots MSK conference, which brings together 500 entrepreneurs, students and other business people in the region every year.
