On 3 September 2025, a meeting of the Innovation Council of the Moravian-Silesian Region took place. Representatives of companies, the Moravian-Silesian Region and the City of Ostrava approved a number of activities and projects during the busy agenda of the meeting, which aim to further develop the region in the areas of digitalization, artificial intelligence, but also, for example, education. One of the submitted projects was the development in the field of the gaming industry within the MSK. The plan is to involve startups, companies, individuals and universities in this sector.
Martin Duda (It4Innovation Ostrava) presented the AI Factory as a centre for the development and testing of AI models, which aims to enable more effective experimentation and implementation of AI solutions in companies. A free service for the use of AI for small and medium-sized enterprises is already available.
