The international project EduBox: Effective Education system of digital tools for VET in technical sectors, which ran from January 2022 until the end of October 2024, has been successfully concluded. This project, which focused on innovation and efficiency of education systems using digital tools in education in technical sectors, brought about a number of positive changes and benefits for teachers, students and educational institutions.
Key achievements of the project
During the two years of the project, we have achieved many significant milestones that underline our efforts to modernise the educational process:
- New partnerships: together with the Moravian-Silesian Innovation Centre Ostrava, we established valuable partnerships with foreign institutions in Slovenia and Slovakia. These collaborations have provided rich opportunities to exchange experiences and best practices in the field of education, which has enriched our methodology and approaches.
- Creation of EduBoxes: within the project we developed 15 new EduBoxes – interactive educational modules designed for teachers of vocational subjects in secondary schools. These modules represent an innovative approach to teaching and allow teachers to better engage students in the learning process using modern digital tools and methods.
- Inspiration from abroad.
- Dissemination events. Among these events, the final conference held at ImpactHUB in Ostrava stood out, where participants learned about the project outputs and discussed their use.
- Tutorials and webinars: We prepared tutorials for each of the EduBoxes to facilitate their implementation in the classroom. At the end of the project we also organised a short webinar where we summarised our main outputs and provided practical advice for their use in everyday teaching practice.

Long-term impact and future
Our efforts to innovate in education have been ongoing since 2020. We were greatly inspired by the Basque organisation TKNIKA, which we had the opportunity to visit together with MSIC Ostrava in 2021. The experience and knowledge we gained there helped us in the development of our training modules.
Thanks to the EduBox project, the Moravian-Silesian Technological Academy was also created, which is committed to the further development of educational aids for secondary schools. This academy will continue our mission to ensure that innovative approaches to education remain at the forefront.
Conclusion
With the conclusion of the EduBox project, a new chapter opens for technical education. Our efforts to improve the quality of education and incorporate modern technology into teaching will continue. We would like to thank all partners, participants and supporters for their invaluable contribution to the success of this project.
