News from the University of Ostrava laboratories can help the environment and industry

Scientists from the University of Ostrava have developed a pair of innovative materials with a wide range of applications in industry and environmental protection. The first innovation from the laboratories can make filtration systems more efficient, for example in wastewater treatment plants. The second can make the production of dioxolanes, which are used in the manufacture of medicines, perfumes and fertilisers, cheaper.
