MEBSTER is a Czech manufacturer of smart assistive technologies. Its flagship product, the patented UNILEXA passive exoskeleton, is designed for people with lower limb mobility impairments for use in both clinical and home environments. The innovative product design makes it an affordable exoskeleton that contributes significantly to the physical and mental rehabilitation of users. In addition, it is possible to monitor therapy progress and personalise training plans using a mobile app. MEBSTER supplies rehabilitation centres and hospitals, such as ParaCENTRUM Fenix, the Hamza Treatment Centre or the Hospital České Budějovice, with the UNILEXA Prime model, which makes the work of healthcare professionals more efficient for their clients with mobility impairments, especially paraplegics. For individuals, the company offers an individual version of UNILEXA Home, which is made directly to the client’s specifications.

We support health professionals to continuously improve services for clients with disabilities and help individuals build healthy habits and improve their quality of life.

Every year, approximately 300 new cases of spinal cord injury occur in the Czech Republic.

Most of them develop painful associated health problems related to prolonged sitting. Treatment of these problems is expensive.

Consistent verticalization leads to relief and serves as prevention of associated diseases.
