Ullmanna is a technology company based in Opava, which proves that even from the Moravian-Silesian region it is possible to build a globally competitive product. We specialize in the development of smart camera systems controlled by artificial intelligence (AI) that automate one of the most challenging activities in agriculture – the recognition and elimination of weeds directly in the field. Our systems can evaluate the image in real time, distinguish the crop from the weed and then activate a mechanical or chemical unit with high accuracy. All this without the need for human intervention. Our technology is already helping dozens of farmers across Europe, from Germany to France to the Netherlands. Our combination of AI, robust hardware and emphasis on ease of use has earned us the trust of even the biggest players in precision agriculture. We are now preparing for expansion into the US, where we see huge potential for using our systems in, for example, targeted spraying of vegetables.
