On 9-10 October this year, the 3rd annual Talent City conference will be held by the Statutory City of Ostrava under the auspices of the wife of the President of the Czech Republic, Eva Pavlova. The Statutory City of Ostrava has long supported talented and gifted children, pupils and students through the Programme and the Call for Talent Management Support.
The thematic block Talent and Entrepreneurship will take place on Thursday 10 October at Impact HUB Ostrava (Sokolská třída 1263/24) from 9 am to 2 pm.
In this block we will offer Czech and international inspiration. There will be presentations of case studies, programmes in primary school teaching and you will hear the positive impact of the role of schools in entrepreneurship. Without disciplinary boundaries, we will look at positive examples from secondary schools. The session will conclude with university inspiration in developing talent for entrepreneurship.
The Moravian-Silesian Innovation Centreis involved in the preparation and implementation of the Talent and Entrepreneurship block .

10:00 – 10:45 Developing Talent for Entrepreneurship, inspiration from the Czech Republic, case study Certification of an Entrepreneurial School, Implementation of the programme in the curriculum
The topics will be presented by Hana Šolcová and Dáša Zouharová (Lipka).
11:00 – 11:45 How to implement Competence for Life, You Can Do Business, Junior Achievement, panel discussion
Discussion of teachers of primary and secondary schools in MSK.
12:15 – 13:00 Entrepreneurship without disciplinary boundaries (positive role of school), elevator pitches
Discussed by Barbora Svrčinová (art), Andrea Urbišová (gastronomy), Ctirad Sára (craft).
13:15 – 14:00 Developing talent for entrepreneurship, university inspiration
Experience will be shared by NEOLAiA – L. Straňák, STARS EU – T. Pražák and UREKA Shift – H. Štverková.
