The Envi-Tech working group met at the end of June to review its operation. During the workshop, the objectives and structure of its future functioning were set together with the stakeholders involved. Besides the standard information sharing among stakeholders, efforts will also be concentrated on specific topics and projects.

And what is DeCo anyway? If you are reading about it for the first time, it is the Design Collaboration for Sustainable Business project from the Interreg Europe programme. The project aims to share good practice in the promotion and development of regional policies in the field of sustainable production and eco-design, across the participating partners from European regions.
Through the active participation of local governments, the project presents an opportunity toinfluence and develop regional policy agendas and instruments in the field of circular economy through shared best practices and innovative solutions. In the case of the city of Ostrava, DeCo specifically addresses two strategic objectives: improving the business environment and bringing the city closer to nature.
