RNDr. Tomáš Gráf, Ph.D is a Czech astronomer, astronomy popularizer and university teacher. He studied physics at the Faculty of Science of Masaryk University in Brno and received his Ph.D. in theoretical physics and astrophysics there. Since 2015 he has been working at the Silesian University in Opava. He is the guarantor of the Multimedia and Popularization study programme and is responsible for the WHOO! observatory and the Unisphere digital spherical projection. He is also involved in the organization of the Astronomy Olympiad.

In 2007 he initiated its expansion to include high school categories, since 2010 he has been a member of the Central Commission of this prestigious competition and has led the Czech team at the International Olympiad in Astronomy and Astrophysics (IOAA) more than ten times.
