Invent Medical is a world leader in customized orthotic and prosthetic devices made by 3D printing. The company’s mission is to help through innovation – helping people with congenital deformities, diseases, or missing body parts live better, healthier lives. Invent supplies aids to more than 900 hospitals and clinics.

We combine cutting-edge digital technology with 30 years of clinical and technical experience in the field. The combination of 3D printing, advanced design and software allows us to produce a whole new generation of devices that are more comfortable, functional and preferred by patients and clinicians. These customized aids would have been previously unmanufacturable.

Reddot Award, 2019

Member company Invent Medical Group s.r.o. won two prestigious awards in the global Red Dot competition for the design of 2 medical devices. For the design of the individually made 3D printed orthopaedic insole “8sole” they won the “Reddot Award 2019” in the “Medical Device” section. For the design of the individually made cranial brace for the treatment of pediatric positional skull defects “Talee”, they won the “The best of the best 2019” award in the Medical Device section, for an exceptional product setting trends in global design.

Our mission is simple: to help through innovation. We use state-of-the-art technology to create the next generation of custom orthotics and prosthetics that improve patients’ lives.

We have more than 30 years of technical and clinical experience in surgical and post-operative treatment. For decades we have operated both a central manufacturing center and patient care facilities. We work with plaster, CAD systems, carvings, and have been using 3D printing and digital workflows since 2010.
