The company is focused on research and development in the field of optical communications, fiber optic sensors, construction of unique photonic systems and design of linear structures with fiber optic systems. The company was established in the environment of VŠB-TU Ostrava as a direct need for easier transfer of research and development results into practice. It consists of current, former and new employees who no longer come from the VŠB-TU Ostrava environment.

We are a company that has been involved in the research, development and implementation of fiber optic sensors and custom optical sensors for a variety of industrial and medical sectors since the beginning of our existence. These orders are characterized by high added value.

Research contracts

Since its establishment in 2017, the company’s employees have carried out several large-scale research contracts, especially for Třinecké Železárny a.s., ELCOM a.s., KABEX a.s., Prodin a.s. and Enviform a.s., where, among others, it implemented a monitoring system for leakages of hazardous gases from medium and high-pressure pipelines. In addition, the company’s employees have been involved in a number of line construction projects in the Czech Republic in the areas of Prague, Ostrava, South Moravia, participated in the research and development of fibre optic sensor for weighing rail vehicles, smart beds with fibre optic sensors, research and development of femtosecond lasers, etc.

We have development capabilities for the design, construction and projection of fiber optic and photonic systems for Industry 4.0 applications, new technological challenges associated with unique systems for biomedical applications related to artificial intelligence and advanced digital signal processing methods.
