MoraviaLab develops smart vertical aeroponic systems for growing microgreens indoors. The aim is to enable companies, schools and institutions to produce fresh vitamin crops locally and self-sufficiently at the point of consumption – without pesticides, without soil and with significantly lower water and energy consumption. The system is data-driven via a cloud-based platform that monitors growing conditions and ensures maximum growth efficiency. MoraviaLab supports the development of sustainable urban agriculture, local food production and increasing food self-sufficiency in the Moravian-Silesian region. By collaborating with universities and local stakeholders, it brings new technological know-how to the region, creates innovative business opportunities and contributes to the visibility of the region as a place where smart solutions with a positive social impact are created.
