ABB’s YuMi Barista takes care of the regular supply of caffeine. YuMi is a great example of how robots can automate service processes and collaborate with humans wherever precision and customer interaction are key. Its arms are designed to touch objects and people gently – which comes in handy when serving coffee.
Robotic helpers will also be complemented by Industrial Robotic Systems with autonomous machines for cleaning, logistics and other routine activities. The robots work 24/7, collecting operational data and reducing costs and dependence on humans.

Visitors can also look forward to a presentation of the Ostrava quantum computer VLQ. At the IT4Innovations stand of the National Supercomputing Centre, they will learn about its practical use in industry, how it differs from a supercomputer or how to get free access to Europe’s most powerful machines for corporate projects.
