Centre for foreigners and their families. This is the Ostrava Expat Centre. Its services are intended for all people from abroad who live, do business, work or plan to move here in the near future. The purpose of the centre is to create an open and friendly environment that will help people to find their way around the city and adapt more quickly. Following the example of large European cities, the centre offers services with quality information and advice, as well as adequate leisure activities and connections with the local community.

Ostrava’s Expat Cenre is the place where new stories begin. A friendly point of contact dedicated to developing an open environment for the integration of foreigners and their families into the labour market and supporting them – through the Expat Centre’s community of dedicated partners – to engage in the social life of the city and the region.

They enable foreigners living and working in the region to contribute their best qualifications, talents, skills and competences and look for ways to make the stay of foreigners in Ostrava a meaningful and enjoyable experience.
